Casey’s Thoughts On Marketing And Martial Arts

In September of 2011 I reached a major milestone in my journey as a “Marketing Artist.” I got to attend a conference run by Joe Polish and meet, in person, someone I looked up to as my “marketing arts master.” Since seriously beginning my “marketing arts” journey in 2007, I’ve tried to have it mirror, as much as possible, my journey as a martial artist (which you can read about in this blog post). Like martial arts, there are many different “marketing art” styles (SEO, PPC, video, list building, direct mail, social media, print ads, flyers, word-of-mouth, etc.) and Joe’s is the one I was drawn to most. Does that make his the best? No. That’s like saying one martial art is better than another. So what I did while at the event was capture “Master Joe” and a variety of people’s thoughts on marketing and martial arts in hopes that it would lead you to a style/teacher to help fulfill your personal martial art dreams.
